Corey King grew up in Jackson, Ohio before moving to Tallahassee, Florida in 1983. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Florida in 1992. She graduated with Honors from the American University, Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C., in 1998. Prior to joining Scruggs, Carmichael and Wershow, she maintained a solo practice in probate and guardianship law in Fort Lauderdale, and worked as a Senior Staff Attorney with the Second District Court of Appeal in Lakeland and the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Gainesville.
Ms. King is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Her areas of practice include estate planning, probate and guardianship.
